David's work is specific, therapeutic, and relaxing;
addressing functional limitations and mental/emotional
stress held in the body. David draws from his detailed study
of anatomy, muscle and meridian function, orthopedic
assessment, and intuitive observation.

Treatment expertise includes motor vehicle accidents, whiplash,
sprain/strain, repetitive use injury, nerve
impingement, TMJ dysfunction, post operative recovery,
maintenance through athletic training, juggling life, and general
stress reduction.

Local soft tissue work is performed within the context of relaxing the
nervous system and helping to unwind broader patterns of
contraction or fixation.

David's goal is to deliver effective treatment while creating a
relaxing restorative experience.

Precision Neuromuscular Therapy
Neuromuscular Therapy is the best way to address soft tissue pain,
ischemia, adhesions, nerve entrapment, associated loss of motion,
and strength.

Neuromuscular Therapy employs functional assessment to identify
issues. Treatment includes trigger point therapy, muscle energy
techniques, myofascial therapy, attachment point therapy, and deep
specific massage strokes.

Advanced Myofascial Therapy
Myofascial Therapy works to release connective tissue restrictions.
The goal is to reduce adhesions and provide more opportunities for
movement. It looks at postural, structural, and functional
imbalances which impact wellbeing.

Shiatsu Therapy
Born from the Zen Shiatsu tradition, this style works gently yet
deeply with the meridian system to support improved chi flow, help
regulate the autonomic nervous system, and re-connect to inner and
outer energetic resources. Mobilizing chi clears stagnation and leads
to expansion, better flexibility, adaptability, vibrancy, and
suppleness in responding to life. In Shiatsu we are touching the
whole: body, mind, emotions, habitual patterns, and the ever-
luminous field of chi. Deeply relaxing, Shiatsu sets the optimal state
for the body to heal itself.

Shiatsu is hands-on work addressing the more subtle energetic
anatomy, and thus the subtler aspects of who we are. It can support
us in things we can't touch with our hands, like immune function,
vitality, digestion, elimination, flexibility in life, coping with
challenging emotions, decision making, emotional safety, worry, and
quality of sleep, just to name a few. Shiatsu can be especially
effective in helping unwind the unconscious patterns of mental and
emotional stress we can carry in our bodies and in our lives.
