Frozen Shoulder

Frozen shoulder, or adhesive capsulitis, occurs when adhesions build up within the capsule of the shoulder joint, making it increasingly difficult to move the shoulder. This condition usually happens following a period of immobilization of the shoulder joint, most commonly after an injury.

Symptoms

Common symptoms of frozen shoulder are pain in the shoulder joint upon movement, as well as loss of movement within the shoulder joint.

The Chiropractors at Mountainview Chiropractic Center will assess the shoulder as well as the surrounding structures to determine the appropriate treatment protocol for the patient.

The practitioners treat frozen shoulder by:

  • Chiropractic adjustments to restore normal joint motion
  • Myofascial release to release adhesions in damaged tissue and take stress off the affected areas
  • Rehabilitation exercises to provide mobility within the shoulder joint

We have a history of treating patients with frozen shoulder very effectively!

We would love to help you reduce your shoulder pain!
